Why this exists

This exists because I love finding and sharing useful tools.

I've been playing with computers since I was a kid, and I love the way software can make life easier, more fun, and more productive. But I also know that not every app is worth your time, and not every tool is worth your money. So I started this site to share my experiences with the things I try, and to help you find the tools that are actually worth your attention.

How the scoring works

Apps get a tier and a short breakdown across the things that actually matter for their category. Some entries are still under review — in the catalogue because they're worth knowing about, but not yet put through their paces. The tips are the part I'd actually read first.
